Allah our Lord

21. O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous –

22. [He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allāh equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him].

2-AlBaqarah

255. Allāh– there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursī extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.

2-AlBaqarah

1. [All] praise is [due] to Allāh, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darkness and the light. Then those who disbelieve equate [others] with their Lord.

2. It is He who created you from clay and then decreed a term and a specified time [known] to Him; then [still] you are in dispute.

3. And He is Allāh, [the only deity] in the heavens and the earth. He knows your secret and what you make public, and He knows that which you earn.

6-AlAn’am

73. And it is He who created the heavens and earth in truth. And the day He says, “Be,” and it is, His word is the truth. And His is the dominion [on] the Day the Horn is blown. [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed; and He is the Wise, the Acquainted.

6-AlAn’am

162. Say, “Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allāh, Lord of the worlds.

163. No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first [among you] of the Muslims.”

164. Say, “Is it other than AllāhI should desire as a lord while He is the Lord of all things? And every soul earns not [blame] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you concerning that over which you used to differ.”

165. And it is He who has made you successors upon the earth and has raised some of you above others in degrees [of rank] that He may try you through what He has given you. Indeed, your Lord is swift in penalty; but indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful.

6-AlAn’am

54. Indeed, your Lord is Allāh, who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He covers the night with the day, [another night] chasing it rapidly; and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, subjected by His command. Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allāh, Lord of the worlds.

55. Call upon your Lord in humility and privately; indeed, He does not like transgressors.

56. And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allāhis near to the doers of good.

7-AlA’raf

3. Indeed, your Lord is Allāh, who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne, arranging the matter [of His creation]. There is no intercessor except after His permission. That is Allāh, your Lord, so worship Him. Then will you not remember?

4. To Him is your return all together. [It is] the promise of Allāh[which is] truth. Indeed, He begins the [process of] creation and then repeats it that He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds, in justice. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment for what they used to deny.

5. It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases– that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. Allāhhas not created this except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know.

6. Indeed, in the alternation of the night and the day and [in] what Allāhhas created in the heavens and the earth are signs for a people who fear Allāh.

10-Yunus

31. Say, “Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Or who controls hearing and sight and who brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and who arranges [every] matter?” They will say, “Allāh,” so say, “Then will you not fear Him?”

32. For that is Allāh, your Lord, the Truth. And what can be beyond truth except error? So how are you averted?

33. Thus the word of your Lord has come into effect upon those who defiantly disobeyed – that they will not believe.

10-Yunus

34. Say, “Are there of your ‘partners’ any who begins creation and then repeats it?” Say, “Allāh begins creation and then repeats it, so how are you deluded?”

35. Say, “Are there of your ‘partners’ any who guides to the truth?” Say, “Allāhguides to the truth. So is He who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed or he who guides not unless he is guided? Then what is [wrong] with you – how do you judge?”

36. And most of them follow not except assumption. Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. Indeed, Allāhis Knowing of what they do.

10-Yunus

2. It is Allāhwho erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see; then He established Himself above the Throne and made subject the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. He arranges [each] matter; He details the signs that you may, of the meeting with your Lord, be certain.

3. And it is He who spread the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains and rivers; and from all of the fruits He made therein two mates; He causes the night to cover the day. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

13-ArRa’d

16. Say, “Who is Lord of the heavens and earth?” Say, “Allāh.” Say, “Have you then taken besides Him allies not possessing [even] for themselves any benefit or any harm?” Say, “Is the blind equivalent to the seeing? Or is darkness equivalent to light? Or have they attributed to Allāhpartners who created like His creation so that the creation [of each] seemed similar to them?” Say, “Allāh is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Prevailing.”

17. He sends down from the sky, rain, and valleys flow according to their capacity, and the torrent carries a rising foam. And from that [ore] which they heat in the fire, desiring adornments and utensils, is a foam like it. Thus Allāhpresents [the example of] truth and falsehood. As for the foam, it vanishes, [being] cast off; but as for that which benefits the people, it remains on the earth. Thus does Allāh present examples.

13-ArRa’d

49. [O Muúammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful.
50. And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment.

15-AlHijr

110. Say, “Call upon Allāhor call upon the Most Merciful. Whichever [name] you call – to Him belong the best names.” And do not recite [too] loudly in your prayer or [too] quietly but seek between that an [intermediate] way.

111. And say, “Praise to Allāh, who has not taken a son and has had no partner in [His] dominion and has no [need of a] protector out of weakness; and glorify Him with [great] glorification.”

17-AlIsra’

5. The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established.

6. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil.

7. And if you speak aloud – then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden.

8. Allāh – there is no deity except Him. To Him belong  the best names.

20-TaHa

1. Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant that he may be to the worlds a warner –

2. He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.

3. But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit and possess not [power to cause] death or life or resurrection.

25-AlFurqan

75. He said, “Then do you see what you have been worshipping,

76. You and your ancient forefathers?

77. Indeed, they are enemies to me, except the Lord of the worlds,

78. Who created me, and He [it is who] guides me.

79. And it is He who feeds me and gives me drink.

80. And when I am ill, it is He who cures me

81. And who will cause me to die and then bring me to life

82. And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense.”

26-AshShu’ara’

91. [Say, O Muúammad], “I have only been commanded to worship the Lord of this city, who made it sacred and to whom [belongs] all things. And I am commanded to be of the Muslims [those who submit to Allāh]

92. And to recite the Qur’ān.” And whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] himself; and whoever strays – say, “I am only [one] of the warners.”

93. And say, “[All] praise is [due] to Allāh. He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.”

27-AnNaml

70. And He is Allāh; there is no deity except Him. To Him is [due all] praise in the first [life] and the Hereafter. And His is the [final] decision, and to Him you will be returned.

71. Say, “Have you considered: if Allāhshould make for you the night continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allāh could bring you light? Then will you not hear?”

28-AlQasas

88. And do not invoke with Allāhanother deity. There is no deity except Him. Everything will be destroyed except His Face. His is the judgement, and to Him you will be returned.

17. So exalted is Allāhwhen you reach the evening and when you reach the morning.

18. And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon.

19. He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be brought out.

20. And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth].

21. And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

22. And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge.

23. And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen.

30-Ar-Rūm

40. Allāhis the one who created you, then provided for you, then will cause you to die, and then will give you life. Are there any of your “partners” who does anything of that? Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.

30-ArRum

4. God is He who created the heavens and the earth and everything between them in six days, and then established Himself on the Throne. Apart from Him, you have no master and no intercessor. Will you not reflect?
5. He regulates all affairs, from the heavens, to the earth. Then it ascends to Him on a Day the length of which is a thousand years by your count.
6. That is the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, the Powerful, the Merciful.
7. He who perfected everything He created, and originated the creation of man from clay.
8. Then made his reproduction from an extract of an insignificant fluid.
9. Then He proportioned him, and breathed into him of His Spirit. Then He gave you the hearing, and the eyesight, and the brains—but rarely do you give thanks.

32-AsSajdah

10. He created the heavens without pillars that you see and has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with you, and dispersed therein from every creature. And We sent down rain from the sky and made grow therein [plants] of every noble kind.

11. This is the creation of Allāh. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error.

31-Luqman

22. Say, [O Muúammad], “Invoke those you claim [as deities] besides Allāh.” They do not possess an atom’s weight [of ability] in the heavens or on the earth, and they do not have therein any partnership [with Him], nor is there for Him from among them any assistant.

34-Saba’

26. Say, “Our Lord will bring us together; then He will judge between us in truth. And He is the Knowing Judge.”

27. Say, “Show me those whom you have attached to Him as partners. No! Rather, He [alone] is Allāh, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”

34-Saba’

65. Say, [O Muúammad], “I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allāh, the One, the Prevailing.

66. Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver.”

38-Sad

11. Say, [O Muúammad], “Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allāh, [being] sincere to Him in religion.

12. And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims.”

13. Say, “Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day.”

14. Say, “Allāh[alone] do I worship, sincere to Him in my religion,

15. So worship what you will besides Him.” Say, “Indeed, the losers are the ones who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, that is the manifest loss.”

16. They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allāhthreatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me.

17. But those who have avoided Tāghūt, lest they worship it, and turned back to Allāh– for them are good tidings. So give good tidings to My servants

18. Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allāhhas guided, and those are people of understanding.

39-AzZumar

64. It is Allāhwho made for you the earth a place of settlement and the sky a ceiling and formed you and perfected your forms and provided you with good things. That is Allāh, your Lord; then blessed is Allāh, Lord of the worlds.
65. He is the Ever-Living; there is no deity except Him, so call upon Him, [being] sincere to Him in religion. [All] praise is [due] to Allāh, Lord of the worlds.
66. Say, [O Muúammad], “Indeed, I have been forbidden to worship those you call upon besides Allāh once the clear proofs have come to me from my Lord, and I have been commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds.”

40-Ghafir

1. îā, Meem.

2. By the clear Book,

3. Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind].

4. On that night is made distinct every precise matter –

5. [Every] matter [proceeding] from Us. Indeed, We were to send [a messenger]

6. As mercy from your Lord. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

7. Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them, if you would be certain.

8. There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death. [He is] your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers.

44-AdDukhan

4. Say, [O Muúammad], “Have you considered that which you invoke besides Allāh? Show me what they have created of the earth; or did they have partnership in [creation of] the heavens? Bring me a scripture [revealed] before this or a [remaining] trace of knowledge, if you should be truthful.”

5. And who is more astray than he who invokes besides Allāhthose who will not respond to him until the Day of Resurrection, and they, of their invocation, are unaware.

6. And when the people are gathered [that Day], they [who were invoked] will be enemies to them, and they will be deniers of their worship.

46-AlAhqaf

22. He is Allāh, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

23. He is Allāh, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allāhabove whatever they associate with Him.

24. He is Allāh, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
