- 3004] عَنْ عَبْدِاللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو رضي الله عنهماقَاَل : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاسْتَأذَنَهُ فِي الجِهَادِ فَقَالَ : (( أَحَيٌّ وَالِدَاكَ )) ؟ قَالَ : نَعَمْ قَالَ : (( فَفِيهِمَا فَجَاهِدْ ))

‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr said, “A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, wanting to do jihad. The Prophet asked, ‘Are your parents alive?’ ‘Yes,’ he replied. he said, ‘Then exert yourself on their behalf.'”

Abu Huraira reported that a person came to Allah, ‘s Messenger (peace be upon him) and said
Who among the people is most deserving of a fine treatment from my hand? He said: Your mother. He again said: Then who (is the next one)? He said: Again it is your mother (who deserves the best treatment from you). He said: Then who (is the next one)? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Again, it is your mother. He (again) said: Then who? Thereupon he said: Then it is your father

“I had a wife whom I loved, but my father hated her. ‘Umar mentioned that to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and he ordered me to divorce her, so I divorced her.”
